So Becky was down with her family last week so we wanted to take some family pictures at Antelope Island. They turned out good considering we had 7 kids under the age 7 and two husbands that were complaining.
We also are now officially certified foster parents. We received our first placement a month ago and she is a lot of fun.

It's been awhile since i have posted so i thought i would just do a Little update for everyone.

* Sam has learned to ride his bike with 2 wheels. He learned in 3 days he is a fast learner. He is also his final stretch of kindergarten. He did his testing today and when he was done he came out at said" mom that was easy I am totally ready for 1st grade," :). He also started t-ball and had his first game. it is so cute to watch them run around at this age.

* Jake and I ran in the Ogden Marathon this year . Jake did the entire 26 miles . He is superman. I ran the relay part with a awesome group of girls.

* And last but not least . We got the great news today that are home study is complete and our profile is now up and running on itsaboutlove.net. Grant turned 4 today . It amazes me how fast time goes by. He had a little stars wars party with his pre- school class. They dressed as Jedi and played with home made light sabers. He told me he had a wonderful Birthday!

Well i can't believe it my baby is 1 today. It is so sad how fast they grow up. On Sunday we celebrated his birthday at his Great - grandpa's house . He got great presents. I even made him and grant a birthday cake . I had a great friend teach me and it only took me 3 hours :). Kenny loves eating his cakes. He is the first kid that didn't freak out when they touched it . He just started eating. We then went to build a bear with Grandma Jill and his brothers helped make a special dog for him. I have to say he has had a great birthday .

Well over the past couple of days Kenny has started walking. I didn't think he would before he turned one. But he is! My little man is growing up . I can't believe he is going to be one this month .

Kid update

Kenny - I am a little late on this post since Kenny will be ten months next week. But I thought I would let everyone how big he is getting. He started crawling the day after Thanksgiving and is now walking with the help of furniture. he how 3 teeth now and all on the bottom it looks so funny when he smiles.
At his check up he weighed 21 lbs and 30 inches long. he is going to be a big boy. It's so sad to see him grow up so fast. But, he is now starting to cuddle and I love every moment of it.

Sam- is now half way through his Kindergarten year. He is loving school and making lots of new friends. I am amazed on how much homework they give him. He has also joined a kids choir and will be starting basketball next month.

Grant- Is enjoying his pre- school group and loves to come home and tell me what he did. He is becoming a little comedian and is always making us laugh.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas ! Our Christmas was great. It was the first year where Sam was to excited to go to sleep then was up early and could hardly wait to see what Santa brought him. They got some really great things this year. To name a few.
Sam - Ipod shuffle, storm trooper helmet, clothes, bokugans (sp), build your own fort& a movie.
Grant - Iron man stuff, Art stand, movie, clothes, mp3 player,storms tooper helmet and movie.
Kenny- clothes, a little toy to help him practice walking, and some baby toys.
Jake- got more clothes for work and slippers
me- Jake gave be these wonderful pictures of the Sacred Grove and the Bountiful Temple. Then my Mother in-law gave me a new dish set.

Well Kenny is now 8 months old . It makes me so sad to see him growing up so fast. He is now crawling,sitting up on his own and is even pulling himself up onto the furniture. He is a busy boy. He has even gotten so big he broke his little jumper:)

Crazy Week

This past week was a crazy one. I went to my first ever midnight show . Twilight and loved it. I liked it so much I went agian the next day. I can't wait for the next one to come out. I also ran my first 5k. Wich was probly one of the craziest things I have done. I don't know what I was thinking since the last time I ran 3 miles was probly in high school. But a good friend of mine talked me into it. Good news I finished it and way under what I thought and I wasn't the last one in . It felt good to do it. I am going to train this winter and run anpther one in spring and hopefully will improve my time by alot:)

This past week we gave the boys room a make- over and put up some of Jake's childhood posters! Hopefully there will me no broken bones from jumping of the top bunk.:/

Adventures of Grant

So I was painting the boys room the other day and Grant came running in crying. So I asked him what was going on. He said " I'm wet!" So I assumed he was playing in the sink in the bathroom like always. But, to my surprise when I waled in my entire bathroom was filled with water that is coming from the over flowing toilet. So I asked him what he did and he told me he put toilet paper in . So I laid towels down and started dumping the water out into the sink so i could plunge it which didn't work. SO i had to put my hand in to see if I could feel anything. Nothing! so I asked him again what he flushed and he finally told me his sandman :/ . So I had to call a plumber and an hour later and $200 gone we fixed the toilet. He is a expensive kid :)

Jake and I are going to be Celebrating our 6 year anniversary this weekend with no kids:)
It's crazy how fast time goes by it feels like only yesterday we were just friends hanging out in Cedar City.It's amazing how after only dating 2 weeks we knew we were ment for each other and got engaged :)And were married 2 months later. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful husband and Father to my children. I am so lucky to have a eternal companion.

Grants first day of pre-school

Grant had his first day of Pre-school today. When I woke him up the first thing he said to me was " i'm not going to school" I was a little worried he would throw a fit when i droped him off. BUt, When the time came he went with out any problems.

So, It was a cold day today so I let the boys play in the garage . When they were out ther they found a bag with some of my soccer medals in it. Who knew how much fun kids would have playing with them. They kept them busy for hours.

My Baby Started school !

So today was Sam's first day of kindergarten. Wow, How time flies it feels like only yesterday I was giving birth. It almost brought tears to my eyes to see him go off into his class room like such a big boy. He is so excited to be in school and that's all he talks about. He was a little upset he didn't get to go tomorrow:)

Well, the plus side is now i have 3 hours with only 2 boys and on tuesday grants is in preschool so hopefully I will be able to have some down time.

We just returned from a wonderful trip with jakes Family to Jackson , Wy.
We got to see old faithful erupt, elk, stuffed buffalo, had some yummy BBQ food. Went and played in Jackson Lake( were Grant wanted to become one with nature) and just enjoyed some family time togather.

This past week went to California to see my family and celebrate Sam's 5Th birthday. Sam stayed with his Cousin Michael for most of the week and got to so to sea world where he got to have lunch with shamu)sp),and have his face painted like the hulk. He also went to the beach and discovered sand crabs. he spent most of his time catching them.( pictures to come soon.) While he was there Jake and I got the chance to take Grant to Disneyland. Thanks to my mom for watching Kenny so we could have some one on one time with grant. He loved that he got to ride on the new toy story ride. It was awesome probably one of my fav. Then on Sunday we had a party for Sam. Thanks to his Aunt Candi. It was Indiana Jones theme. the kids went swimming and made there own wipes. It was a blast. I loved seeing some of my family members and friends that i haven't seen in a long time. I miss the Shea Clan:) Sam got all the gifts he asked for. What a great way to end a wonderful vacation.

So Sam and Grant started swim lessons this week. It is going alot better then i thought. Sam is getting so brave and in learned how to dive. Grant on the other hand is are little wild thing he makes his teachers laugh all the time. He is just in his own world.:)

Kenny's Blessing

We Blessed our little Kenny on June 1st. It was great to have my mom come out and help me out since i had surgery 4 days before. It was a wonderful day and I loved seeing everyone.
Kenny Update: Just a little update he is now almost 3 months old and the past 2 night has slept through the night. I hope he continues doing that. He now weighs almost 15 lbs. he is my big baby he is wearing 6 month clothes now. It makes me so sad to see him grow up so fast.

Park City

We spent a week in park city a few weeks ago with Jake's family. It was a great Vacation. The boys got to swim every day and play with there uncle Erik and cousins Briggs and Anna.

Surgery

I had surgery on Wed. and everything went well. I am now at home recovering. Things are going a lot better then I thought. Both emotionally and physically. I am really grateful i was able to have 3 wonderful sons and a wonderful husband to help be through this rough time . Thanks to everyone who had helped me and my family during this time and for all the prayers,

WELL , I HAD MY 6 WEEK POST DELIVERY CHECK . AND FOUND OUT I AM GOING TO NEED TO HAVE SURGERY . SO NEXT WED I AM GOING IN TO REMOVE MY UTERUS AND ONE OVARY. IT HAS BEEN KIND OF A SAD AND EMOTIONAL TIME FOR ME . I KNEW IT WAS A POSSIBILITY BUT, NEVER IMAGINED AT 24 I WOULD NO LONGER BE ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN. I HAVE A FRIEND WHO WENT THROUGH THE SAME THING I AM GOING THROUGH ANS SHE TOLD ME IT'S GOING TO BE ROUGH EMOTIONALLY FOR A LIILE WHILE AND MY OB SAID IT WILL BE A SAD DAY. SO PLEASE KEEP MY IN YOUR PRAYERS.
I WILL UPDATE AFTER THE SURGERY.

Well after 8 hrs of labor, 2 failed epidurals and a very painful delivery. We welcomed baby Kenneth into the world. He truley is our miracle baby. He was as healthy as can be. He even weighed 7lbs 4 oz. I can't thank my Heavenly father enough for him.
I also want to thank everyone who kept us in there prayers. they were answered.

Well, i just wanted to let everyone know I will be induced this monday @ 7 am . i went to the Doc on thur and was already dilated to a 2 . Yeah. we still are unsure about his condition , He may still need to be in NICU. But I ope not please keep him in your prayers.

Another Baby Update

Well, i have more complications . I have to much amniotic fluid in my uterus. Which we have been watching for almost 3 weeks now. I went to the docter today and my uterus is measuring 37 weeks full term. Even though i am only 29 weeks along. So I still have to continue bed rest cause i am contracting since me uterus thinks it's almost done. And next week i will get steriod shots to help speed up the babies lungs. We are praying he will stay in atleast 4 more weeks so he can get bigger. Right now he is 3lbs 10oz but, he might have a blockage in his stomach which is causing him not to be able to swallow the fliud. so they want him bigger incase he needs surgery. PLease keep him in your prayers.
